    Dull and overly descriptive in order to pad out the narrative and give you the impression that you have bought a novel. Not like Jack Reacher of old - not a good plot, not well written, lacking in imagination. Only read if you have read every other Jack Reacher. If you haven't, stick with the earlier ones.

    My first Lee Child novel, pretty disappointed given his reputation. Some of the writing was painful to read. The use of the word "and" in a single sentence 3 times on several occasions drove me mad! Not sure I will try another of his works.

    Have read all the Jack Reacher books and enjoyed them all this one I am afraid a great disappointment far to much padding.Hopefully a return to form with the next one.

    Another great book from Lee as usual you can't put it down until you've finished then wish that it was a longer book,excellent read and certainly recommended

    Jack Reacher is an enviable loner. He has no ties and little background. He carries no baggage (literally). He descends on bad guys and bullies with a calculated ferocity - and the awful thing is we love him for it.

    Since day one I have loved All of the Jack Reacher books, and this one does not disappoint. I couldn't stop reading once I started and was gutted when I actually finished it because now I have to go back to a world without Reacher! Many times authors can lose the main character or become repetitive, Lee Child has managed to grip me in every single book and I can't wait for the next one! Loved the book, thank you!

    Similar to the other Reacher books; you know what you are getting and this doesn't disappoint. It introduces a couple of characters who might, just might, reappearing another volume. The jump from book to film would be a pretty short one. If you liked the others, you'll like this one.
