About the author

Ant Middleton is the front man for Channel 4’s hit show, SAS: Who Dares Wins. Born in Portsmouth and raised in rural France, Ant set his sights on a career in the armed forces and didn’t stop striving until he achieved his goal. Over the course of his career he has served in the Special Boat Service, the Royal Marines and 9 Parachute Squadron Royal, achieving what is known as the ‘Holy Trinity’ of the UK’s Elite Forces.

    I could hardly finish it, not an indicator of my ability to “get the job done” merely how boring this book was. The standard childhood beginning dispersed with the odd fragment of Army life. While I’m sure this book was not intended to follow the SAS/SBS action “pull up a sandbag” kind of book, it could go some way to keep me interested.

    Just finished reading this autobiography of Antony Middleton. I really enjoyed read about him and I found it very inspirational. I feel quit motivated to strive out into the world and work hard to achieve my goals even when the chips are down make good of a bad situation.
